No. 3-ranked College of Idaho’s Haley Loffer was named the WVT Laboratory Softball Player of the Week.
Loffer, a senior infielder from Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, hit .556 with five runs scored and six RBIs as the Coyotes completed a weekend sweep of Northwest University. She had three extra-base hits, finishing the week with a 1.111 slugging percentage. In the opener, she hit a home run and drove in five as C of I posted a 17-5 win. Loffer followed that up with a 2-for-3 effort with a run scored and two RBIs. Despite being held without a hit, she drew a pair of walks in the 8-1 win over Northwest on Saturday.
