Bushnell University’s Linus Rueegger was named the WVT Laboratory Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Rueegger, a junior from Portland, Ore., took third place among over 1200 male runners (and 2,900 total runners) at the Shamrock'n Half Marathon in Sacramento, California. He finished first among all runners ages 19-24. His time sets a new Bushnell school record, qualifies with an "A" standard for the NAIA Marathon, and is currently the seventh-fastest time in the NAIA this season.
