No. 1-ranked Sarah Abramson was named the WVT Laboratory Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second time this year.
 
Abramson, a senior pitcher from Milwaukie, Ore., was dominant in the circle in the Owls’ four-game sweep of No. 3-ranked College of Idaho. She struck out 11 batters in a two-hit shutout in game one, picked up the win in relief (her school-record 80th career win) in game two, and blanked the Coyotes for a second time in game three of the series, tossing a three-hitter. Abramson also has a CCC-leading 16 wins on the season.
