Southern Oregon University’s Molly Guerra was named the WVT Laboratory Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Guerra, a junior from Grants Pass, Ore., met the NAIA 'A' standard in the discus and shot to No. 2 on the national performance list Saturday at the Humboldt Invitational. Her mark of 151-7 (46.21 meters) was the second-best in SOU history and the Raiders' top throw in 22 years. Guerra also took second in the hammer throw with a toss of 44.66 meters.
