UBC’s Rowan Hamilton was named the WVT Laboratory Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this year.
 
Hamilton, a sophomore from Chilliwack, B.C., Canada, set a new personal record in the hammer throw at the Mt. SAC Relays, taking first out of 49 athletes. It also marks the top collegiate throw across all divisions of NCAA, JUCO, and NAIA by 2 meters. Hamilton also owns the No. 1-ranked NAIA throw by 11 meters.
