Corban University’s Robert Swoboda was named the WVT Laboratory Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Swoboda, a senior from Ukiah, Calif., had a school-record performance in the 10,000 meters as he crossed the finish line at the 29:32.69 mark (NAIA 'A' standard) behind only an NCAA Division I runner from University of Portland. Swoboda's time is the No. 1 mark across the NAIA, currently.
