UBC’s Rowan Hamilton was named the WVT Laboratory Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this year. 
 
Setting a new personal best throw, Hamilton also set a new Canadian U-23 record, eclipsing a mark that had stood since 2006. The junior from Chilliwack, B.C., Canada’s 75.98-meter throw is the 14th-best throw in the entire world so far this year and stands as the top mark in NAIA by 13 meters.
