Eastern Oregon University’s Allex Kosel was named the WVT Laboratory Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Kosel, a junior from Roberts, Mont., produced 28 field points to help the Mounties win the CCC Men’s Track and Field Championship, presented by U.S. Bank. He picked up two individual championships and grabbed three all-conference honors. Kosel won the triple jump with a mark of 14.80 meters and took first in the long jump with a 7.16-meter mark. He was also part of EOU’s 4x400 relay team.
