No. 7-ranked Corban University’s Kealani Ontai was named the WVT Laboratory Volleyball Defender of the Week.
 
Ontai, a senior defensive specialist/libero from Pearl City, Hawaii, held down the Corban backcourt for the entirety of the College of Idaho Tournament, where she hauled in 78 digs over the span of 15 sets to average 5.20 digs per set. She also managed to rank third on the team in assists this weekend, dealing to the Warrior attackers on 23 occasions.
