No. 20-ranked Warner Pacific University’s Andrew Martinez was named the Rize Laboratory Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row and fifth time this year.
Martinez, a freshman forward from Gresham, Ore., scored four goals and two assists over the weekend to help the Knights pick up two wins and remain perfect on the year. He scored two goals against the University of Providence in the first four minutes of the game and opened the game against Rocky Mountain College with a goal in the first 30 seconds of action. Martinez leads the CCC and NAIA with 26 goals so far this season.
