(RV) Southern Oregon University’s Kami Walk was named the Rize Laboratory Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Walk, a junior forward from Eugene, Ore., helped the Raiders open the year with an upset victory over No. 4-ranked Carroll College. She scored eight of her 14 points in the fourth quarter and also finished with eight rebounds, two blocks and two steals.
