Bushnell University’s Makenna Northern was named the Rize Laboratory Volleyball Setter of the Week for the second time this year.
 
Northern, a senior setter from Brownsville, Ore., clinched the conference assists stat title with another superb weekend as she lifted the Beacon to a pair of wins. She led three players to double-digit kills in the win over LC State with 44 assists and recorded her ninth double-double of the season, adding 16 digs defensively. Northern finished the regular season with 8.98 assists per set overall (9.57 in conference matches).
