(RV) Lewis-Clark State College’s Davian Brown was named the Rize Laboratory Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Brown, a sophomore guard from Pasadena, Calif., had a standout weekend to help lead LC State to a pair of victories in the Clearwater River Casino & Lodge Classic over the weekend and was voted the tournament's MVP. He averaged 19.5 points per game with 15 against Park Gilbert (Ariz.) and a game-high 24 against Rocky Mountain (Mont.). Brown was efficient with a .560 field goal percentage and was 5-for-11 from three-point range (.455). He dished out five assists and grabbed eight rebounds.
