Corban University’s Darius Henderson was named the Rize Laboratory Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Henderson, a senior forward from Pasadena, Calif., led the way for the Warriors in their conference opening victory at Bushnell University and a 1-1 weekend in the Vanguard Thanksgiving Tourney. He recorded his first double-double of the year with 23 points and 11 rebounds against La Sierra and scored in double-digits in every game for 52 total points, nearly achieving another double-double against (RV) Antelope Valley in a one-possession game. Henderson shot over 51-percent for the week from the field and 44.4-percent from the three-point line.
