Multnomah University’s Neyland Block was named the Rize Laboratory Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Block, a junior guard from Copperas Cove, Texas, led the Lions to another 2-0 weekend while averaging 19 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. He shot a total of 16/25 on the weekend and sealed the win at Northwest with two huge free throws with six seconds left, to result in a 78-76 victory. With the help of Block’s dominant ability, the Lions are now on a four game win streak.
