Eastern Oregon University’s Morgan Bayes was named the Rize Laboratory Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Bayes, a graduate student hurdler from Adrian, Ore. competed three times for the Mountaineers this weekend at the Spokane Indoor Challenge, finishing above the top 10 every time. Bayes achieved a massive accomplishment, breaking the EOU program record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.02 while hitting a "B" standard time.
