Dahle, a senior goalkeeper from Wilsonville, Ore., was selected as the male winner after building a strong off-pitch resume in line with the five core tenets of the NAIA’s Champions of Character program, which are respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and servant leadership. He served as part of the Concordia Service Corps, volunteering at neighboring Faubion Elementary School. At Faubion, he helped run organize recess games as part of a larger effort that reduced the disciplinary referral rate by 85%.
A volunteer leader with College Bound, a program that brings middle school students onto a college campus, he teaches Sunday School at Community of Hope Church and is the soccer coach for the U9 girls at Willamette United Youth Soccer.
