Holt, a junior from Meridian, Idaho, had a near perfect season in 2012-13. She went unbeaten during the cross country season, winning both the CCC Championship and the NAIA National Championship while helping the Lady Yotes win the CCC team title and place second at nationals.
During the indoor track and field season, she recorded the fastest times in the NAIA in both the mile and 3000m run, winning national championships in both events and anchoring the NAIA Championship Distance Medley Relay team to earn Women’s Athlete of the Meet.
She wrapped up the season with an outstanding outdoor track and field season, posting the top NAIA mark in both the 800m and 1500m runs, winning the conference title in both events. She set an NAIA all-time national record with here time of 4:11.68 in the 1500m run at the Oregon Twilight, qualifying for the USA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships later this month.
