Concordia’s Esvan Middleton has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the week.

Middleton, a junior from Culver City, Calif., was a dominant force on the boards this weekend as Concordia swept it home series against College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon. Middleton posted a pair of ‘double-doubles’ with an average of 16 points and 16 rebounds in the two CCC wins. Middleton registered the rare ’20-20’ outing with 21 points and 20 rebounds against College of Idaho on Saturday to propel CU to a 95-89 win over the Yotes. With four straight ‘double-doubles’, Middleton now has six such accomplishments this season.
