Webster won the hammer throw at the Willamette Invitational over the NAIA's No. 2 performer in the event in Bo Johnson. Webster edged his teammate 190 feet, four inches to 185 feet, 10 inches for the event win and an NAIA automatic qualifier.

Webster's mark moved the senior into No. 3 on the Concordia all-time performance list, and according to the NAIA season list, only three NAIA athletes have met that distance so far this year.
