College of Idaho’s Hillary Holt has been named the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the week.
Holt, a senior from Meridian, Idaho, had a banner close to the indoor regular-season, placing sixth in an elite field (only non-professional or BCS conference runner in race) of the mile run at the Husky Classic, recording the fastest mark in the NAIA (by 20 seconds) and crushing C of I's school record and hitting the USATF Indoor Nationals cut...followed it up by winning the 3,000-meters at the UW Open, breaking her own school record and running the 2nd-fastest time in the NAIA this season. Holt has now qualified for the NAIA Championships in the 800/mile/3000/4x400/DMR.
