Corban’s Austin Guzzon has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Guzzon, a junior from Oceanside, Calif., threw a one-hitter at Simpson on Friday night, not allowing a hit through the first six innings. He allowed only one other base runner on a third-inning walk, thus recording seven 1-2-3 innings. He finished the game with 10 strikeouts and fanned the side in order in the first and fifth innings. With the win he improved his season record to 3-3.
