Concordia’s Lynsie Furuya has been named the Red Lion Women’s Golfer of the Week.
 
Furuya, a freshman from Honolulu, Hawaii, led Concordia at the Battle at Primm last week with an 11th-place finish in a field that featured four top-20 teams in the most recent NAIA coaches’ poll. Out of 57 individuals, Furuya tied for the fourth-best round on the second day with a 3-over 75 for the 5,938-yard course.
