The native of Waterloo, Ont. drove in six runs and scored five as the Thunderbirds swept the four-game series against Simpson. The four victories allowed UBC to clinch the No. 1 seed for the NAIA West Grouping playoffs, which the school will host May 2-5 in Vancouver. Yari finishes the regular season as the team leader in batting average (.372).
