Men’s Basketball

Northwest’s Dak Shagren has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Shagren, a sophomore from Custer, Wash., made a quick recovery from a early season broken left hand which sidelined him for the first 5 NU games. Last week he led the team in scoring and shot an impressive 59% for three games including 53% from the 3-point line.

NU has won six straight games since Dak rejoined the team with Shagren averaging 17.16 ppg in those six wins.
