Women’s Outdoor Track
Southern Oregon’s Amelia Maguin has been named the Red Lion Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the week.
Maguin, a senior from Fernley, Nev., retained the No. 1 spot on the NAIA 400-meter hurdles list while breaking her own school record by just over a tenth of a second with a time of 59.07 which made her a winner in the 22-person race.
She had already been an automatic qualifier in that event, but she also became a provisional qualifier by placing sixth of 34 in the 100-meter hurdles in 14.59 seconds.
