Female T&F Athlete of the Year
Maguin, a senior from Fernley, Nev., won her first title in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.96 which set her own school record for the fourth time this year. Her two-second victory was the largest wining-margin at the meet in six years.
At the Cascade Conference Championships, Maguin earned wins in the 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles, 400-meter dash and a runner-up finish in the 4x400 relay giving her the title of Female Track Athlete of the Meet. She earned NAIA ‘A’ standard qualifying marks in all four events mentioned and became an indoor NAIA All-American.
