Oregon Tech’s Lavar Moore has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Moore, a senior guard from Waterbury, Conn., dropped a season-high 31 points last week versus Simpson University and came back to help the Owls to a pair of wins in the Midland Empire Insurance Classic where his 3-pointer versus William Jessup with 50 seconds to play broke an 78-all tie on the way to an 84-81 win over the Warriors.
 
Moore averaged over 20 points on the week while grabbing 11 rebounds and handing out 15 assists in Tech's three games.
