Men’s Basketball
 
The Evergreen State College’s Alix Hernandez has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
With five victories the Geoducks have already surpassed last season's win total and Hernandez is a big reason for it. The senior forward from Yakima, Wash., averaged 20.5 points and 7.5 rebounds while shooting 64 percent from the field.
 
He also averaged 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals as Evergreen split a pair of games.
