Northwest’s Jonathan Ferguson has been named the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Ferguson, a senior from Pleasant Hill, Ore., met the NAIA automatic qualifying standard in the 1000m event and will make his third consecutive trip to the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships in Johnson City, Tenn., in March. He was the top NAIA finisher in a field comprised of a majority of NCAA Division I and II schools.
