Northwest U's George Scores 1,000th Career Point
KIRKLAND, Wash. – Northwest University’s Greg George, a 6-9 junior post from Seattle, Wash. (Lake Washington HS), broke the 1,000 point mark on Saturday night in NU’s victory over Southern Oregon. His 13 points in the game gives him 1,010 total points in his 76 games with the Eagles.
George carries an 13.28 point per game career average along 578 rebounds and has a career FG average of 52.4% to go along with his career free throw average of 70%.
In three games last week, George averaged 18.7 points per game, 8.3 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and had a 62.5% FG average along with shooting 75% from the free throw line. His 27 points and 11 rebounds against Multnomah University on Monday, Jan. 4, was his fourth double-double of the season.
