CALDWELL, Idaho - A 15-2 first half run gave The College of Idaho the lead for good, as the Lady Yotes completed a season sweep of Oregon Tech, winning 65-55, tonight in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The Owls (11-13, 2-9 CCC) jumped out to a 6-0 edge and led 10-8, eight minutes into the game, before the Yotes caught fire. A steal and bucket from Nicole Gall started the spurt, with Gall adding a jumper and a pair of free throws, Nicole Bruce added a lay-up, Katelin Shannon had a steal and basket, and Diamond Mitchell logged a trey, as The C of I led 23-12 with 6:57 left in the half.

Nicole Gall had 16 of her game-high 22 points in the first half, including a banked-in 30-foot three at the horn to close out the period, giving the Coyotes (12-9, 7-4) a 37-24 lead at the half. The senior added seven assists and five steals in the victory.

OIT trailed 46-27 early in the second half, but the Owls used a 10-0 run to get within nine, but could not overcome 22 turnovers and 1-of-12 shooting from outside the arc. Kassi Conditt scored all 11 of her points in the second half, along with a team-high nine boards.

Bruce had 14 points and Meghan Hughes scored 11 for the Coyotes in the win, while Shannon led all players with ten rebounds.

The Lady Yotes return to action next weekend with road games at Concordia and Warner Pacific.
