ASHLAND, ORE. -- Biniam Tadele's 3-pointer with under a minute to play gave Warner Pacific the lead for good as they scored a 68-65 victory over the Southern Oregon men tonight at Riehm Arena.

The 21st-ranked Knights improved to 19-8 overall and 12-5 in Cascade Conference action. Southern Oregon fell to 14-14 overall and 6-11 in conference. The Raiders host Concordia tomorrow night in a key game for playoff seeding.

Stephen Harris led the Knights with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Tadele finished with 14 points and Webster Moreland had 12.

Sam Osofsky provided a huge spark for the Raiders, coming off the bench for 14 points. Jordan Highland had 13 points, Austin Wolfer finished with 12 and Kellen Hawley had 12 points and six rebounds.

Warner Pacific jumped out to an early 23-10 lead after a layup by Harris, but the 3-point shooting of Osofsky and Dex Daum rallied the Raiders.

Osofsky hit three 3-pointers and Daum had two 3-pointers in the first half as the Raiders rallied to take a 31-30 lead into the half.

The two teams battled back-and-forth to start the second half before the Raiders appeared to be in control, leading 52-47 midway through the second half on free throws by Wolfer.

A layup by Hawley gave the Raiders a 64-60 lead with 3:41 to play before the offense for the Raiders went dry.

A free throw by Harris and two free throws by Tadele cut the SOU lead to 64-63 and then Tadele knocked down the game-winning 3-pointer with under a minute to play.
