ASHLAND, ORE. -- Kelsey Mattsen's 32 points helped lead Warner Pacific to a 83-71 victory over Southern Oregon tonight at Riehm Arena.

Warner Pacific improved to 16-11 overall and 10-7 in Cascade Conference play. Southern Oregon fell to 15-14 overall and 8-9 in league play. The Raiders host Concordia in a key league battle tomorrow night in the regular season finale.

Mattsen finished with 32 points on 11-for-18 shooting from the field and a 8-for-10 effort from the free throw line. Miranda Holenstein added 18 points.

Carly Wood led the Raiders with 13 points, while Josi McDermott had 11 and Alexi Smith had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Knights jumped out and early and never let the Raiders catch up.

After a 38-32 halftime lead, the Raiders cut the lead to 41-37 early in the second half on a 3-pointer by Lindsey Scheffler, but a 3-pointer by Holenstein pushed the lead back to 44-37 and the Knights started rolling.

A layup by Katie Smith put the Knights up 52-37 and give Warner plenty of distance.

The Knights made 10 of 16 3-pointers in the game and went 4-for-5 in the second half.
