SALEM, Ore. – Sophomore Jordan Carter scored over half of the team's points recording a game-high 26 points on 8-for-16 shooting from the field, as Corban's men's basketball team earned a hard-fought 47-42 victory over The College of Idaho Saturday inside the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center.
Tonight's win extends the Warriors' winning streak to four games, as Corban improves to 15-11 overall and evens its Cascade Collegiate Conference record at 7-7. Meanwhile, The College of Idaho falls to 9-17 overall and 4-11 in league games.

On the boards, Kopra grabbed a team-high six rebounds to go along with a game-high three assists by Cronrath.
In the lowest scoring victory since Corban defeated Southern Oregon, 53-52, on February 18, 2006, the Warriors fell behind early as The College of Idaho scored the opening six points to take a 6-0 lead following a Krispin Banks' lay-in with 17:42 left. Corban would quickly jump back into the game via a 7-0 run over a span of two minutes capped by a three-pointer by Kopra at the 15:44 mark. A Sydney Donaldson free throw would tie the game at 7-all before Corban used a 10-0 run over a seven-minute span to take a 17-7 lead after Kopra knocked down back-to-back free throws with 7:37 left. The College of Idaho would slowly chip away at the host Warriors' lead pulling within a single point (18-17) thanks to a 10-1 run over a six-plus minute span, as Rodney Delgardo capped the run with a jumper at the 34-second mark. After a missed jumper by Cronrath with three seconds left, Kopra grabbed the rebound and was fouled at the buzzer giving him two free throws without anyone on the court. The 6-foot-4 junior knocked down both freebies to give Corban a three-point halftime lead (21-18).
The second half would begin with the host Warriors jumping out to a seven-point lead (33-26) on a lay-in by Cronrath with 10:41 on the clock. A 7-0 run by C of I would tie the game for the second time at 33-33 before Corban used a 6-0 run of its own to secure a 39-33 lead on another Cronrath lay-in with 3:46 remaining. The College of Idaho would pull within a single point (43-42) thanks to a 9-4 run over a span of three-plus minutes, as Banks knocked down a lay-in with seven seconds remaining. Fortunately for the Warriors, timely defense and clutch free throw shooting by Carter would help Corban secure the hard-fought five-point win (47-42).
C of I was led offensively by Banks with 11 points, while Donaldson was the only other Coyote in double figures with 10. On the boards, Ben Van Lith pulled down a game-high eight rebounds to go along with a two-assist effort by Donaldson.
