KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Due to a scheduling conflict at Kiger Stadium, Head coach Matt Miles announced today that this weekend’s NAIA West baseball series between Oregon Tech and Concordia University will be rescheduled.

This Saturday’s doubleheader, originally scheduled to begin at 12 p.m., is now moved to a 5 p.m. start time. The series will conclude as originally planned on Sunday with the first of two games to begin at 11 a.m.

Oregon Tech takes a 17-30 overall mark, along with a 10-18 NAIA West record, into this weekend. Meanwhile, Concordia is 20-25 overall and 12-16 in the NAIA West standings.

Both Oregon Tech and Concordia are aiming for a playoff spot into the NAIA West postseason. Oregon Tech will need three wins in four tries to continue their season, while the Cavaliers are seeking at least two wins to solidify a spot in postseason play.

The winner of the NAIA West postseason tournament, played at Concordia University in Portland, will earn the grouping's automatic bid to the NAIA Championships.

All games this weekend are scheduled for nine innings and will be played at Kiger Stadium in Klamath Falls.
