CALDWELL, Idaho - Pounding down 44 kills with a commanding .396 hitting percentage, The College of Idaho rolled to a 25-16, 25-19, 25-16 victory over Northwest Christian, clinching a share of their eighth-straight Cascade Conference title.

The win for the No. 23 ranked Lady Yotes (15-9, 15-2 CCC) was their 11th-straight league win and can claim the outright title tomorrow with a victory over Corban tomorrow night.

The visiting Beacons (17-9, 10-7), who have already clinched a berth in the six-team CCC Championships, got a pair of Maren Mansfield kills in a 5-1 run to open the match. C of I responded, as Liz Myers had three kills and Lili Brochado added a pair in a 8-1 push to lead 9-6, extending the margin to 15-9 on a Emily Ottinger spike - and were not threatened again.

NCU started hot in Set 2, as back-to-back Chandler Gabrio aces gave the Beacons their largest lead of the match at 9-4. However, the Yotes came right back scoring six-straight points, part of a 15-4 run to take command of the set - as Kylee Nawahine recorded three kills and Kylie Porter added two blocks in the run.

Set 3 was tight, as a Janel Fetters kill got the Beacons within 13-12. The Yotes followed with an eight-point run, taking advantage of three NCU errors, to claim the victory.

Myers led a balanced C of I attack with nine kills in 10 swings, also adding four blocks. Ottinger and Brochado each had eight kills, with Nawahine logging seven kills, a team-high 13 digs, and four blocks. Porter led all players with five blocks, while Sierra Porter had 38 assists and eight digs.

NCU was led by Mansfield, who had a match-high 11 kills, with Fetters adding 10 kills and seven digs. Setter Cori Wallace had 33 assists, with Dana McGowan leading all players with 18 digs.
