FINAL RESULTS

MEDFORD, Ore. – For the first time this season and fourth time in the last two years, Corban University's men's golf team captured a team title Tuesday by winning the Border War hosted by Oregon Tech at Centennial Golf Club with the Warriors' Jared Lambert winning medalist honors for the second straight tournament.

Along with the Warriors' winning performance, Lambert was the only player to shoot even-par in the final round to capture his second individual medalist honor in a row winning by nine strokes over The College of Idaho's Kyle DeLorey (75-79=154) and Oregon Tech's David Murphy (77-77=154). Lambert's two-day total of 1-over par 145 (73-72) is his largest margin of victory by any Corban player in program history.

As a team, Corban overcame a two-stroke deficit heading into the second and final round by shooting the lowest score of the second day with a 26-over 314 for a two-day total of 45-over 621 (307-314). First round leader and tournament-host Oregon Tech finished second overall, as the Hustlin' Owls posted a 36-hole score of 58-over 634 (305-629) followed by Menlo (319-317=636), The College of Idaho (321-316=637), and Simpson (332-315=647).

The Top 5 individuals were Lambert, DeLorey (75-79=154), Murphy (77-77=154), first round co-leader Oregon Tech's Dalton Durrell (73-82=155), and Menlo's Patrick McNamara (75-80=155).

Overall, the Cascade Collegiate Conference defeated the California Pacific Conference with the three CCC schools averaging 629.0 strokes versus the CalPac's average of 641.5 strokes.
