Carly Meister and Majerle Reeves shared game-high scoring honors with 19 points apiece as No. 13-ranked Southern Oregon defeated The Evergreen State College, 95-50, in a Cascade Collegiate Conference women's basketball game played Saturday night in Costantino Recreation Center.

With the victory, the Raiders (10-0 overall, 3-0 CCC) won for the 10th time without a loss to establish a new mark for best season start in program history. The Geoducks (1-8, 1-3), meanwhile, lost their fifth consecutive game.

Southern Oregon led throughout the contest, building a 30-9 advantage after the first quarter. The largest lead that the Raiders enjoyed came by 90-40 with 4:04 remaining in the final period.

Meister, who missed her team's first five games because of injury, was 8-for-11 from the field and scored all but two of her points in the first half of the game. Reeves was electric from three-point range, shooting 5-for-8 in leading the team to a 9-for-20 night from long range.

Joining those two in double figures for the Raiders were Ashley Claussen with 18 and Sydney Mullings with 10. Claussen and Demi Sahlinger both contributed five assists as Southern Oregon totaled 24 assists on its 37 baskets.

The Raiders shot 51 percent (37-for-72) from the field and 86 percent (12-for-14) from the foul line.

Victoria Elleby came off the bench to shoot 5-for-10 from the field on the way to her team-best 12 points. She added eight rebounds, tying Gabi Fenumiai for team-high honors in that category. Fenumiai was Evergreen's only other double-figure scorer, going for 11 points. Lacey Morris led the hosts with five assists.

Evergreen shot just 30 percent (19-for-64) from the field and lost the rebound battle, 45-39.

The Geoducks return to action at 1 p.m. tomorrow when they host the Oregon Tech Owls in CRC Gymnasium.
