Said NU coach, Steve Bain following the match, “Southern Oregon played extremely well today and proved why they are ranked so highly. They put pressure on us with their serve and as a result we struggled to get anything going offensively. And when that happens the result is predictable. Still, we had some good moments and I was pleased with the effort. I believe our players will learn from the experience and use this defeat to make the changes that will make us more successful the next time we take the court.”

Northwest U will play on the road in Olympia on Tuesday, Sept. 15, taking on in-state rival, Evergreen at 7:00 p.m.
