KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Oregon Tech men placed 1-2-3-4 and dominated the field, while the College of Idaho grabbed the women's title in a field of six at the Oregon Tech Invitational that concluded today at the Running Y Golf Course.

Oregon Tech’s Montana Frame, Houston Knox and Josh Whitley finished their three rounds tying for top-honors with a -3 (213). David Murphy was fourth overall with a three round total of 214 (-2). Whitley and Murphy, along with Warner Pacific’s Jacob Berg came away with low-round scores of 69 on the final day. Tech’s Tyler Swinton placed 11th overall with a total of 228 (+11) to round out the scoring for the Owls.

Oregon Tech earned the team title 65 strokes ahead of Simpson University. The Owls tallied a -11 (286-283-284) to finish with an 853 stroke total. Simpson was at 918 (+54) with four Cascade Collegiate Conference teams following. College of Idaho was third (928) +64, Warner Pacific College fourth (931) +67, Northwest Christian University fifth (933) +69 and Corban University sixth (944) +80. Menlo College (953) +89, Oregon Tech 2 (1006) +142, Walla Walla University (1020) +156 and Cal-Maritime (1084) +220 rounded out the field of 10.

On the women’s side, Natalie Mullins of College of Idaho took top-honors with a two-round score of 152 (+8). Mullins shot an 80 on the first day and turned around with a low-round of 72 on the final day to help the Yotes to the women’s team title. C of I’s two round total of 649 (332-317) +73 was four strokes better than Corban University. Hannah Clarizio and Casey Jansen of Corban finished second and third overall with a +16 and +17, respectively, getting the Warriors a second place team finish at +77 (326-327) 653.

For Oregon Tech, Janelle Ferlan placed fourth overall with a +18 (85-77) 162. Kylie Collom, who led the field heading into the final day, finished up with at a +20 (76-88) 164. Rounding out the scoring for the Owls was Heidi Froelich and Holly Froelich tied for 10th overall with a +25 (169). Kelcie Gardner (+30) placed 17th overall and Shelby LaTourette (+36) was 20th. The Owls placed third with a total stroke count of 664 (331-333) +88. Simpson was fourth overall with a +115 (691), Menlo College fifth (743) +167 and Warner Pacific College sixth with a +199 (775).
