PORTLAND, Ore – Senior middle hitter
Kasaundra Tuma booked a match-high 14 kills, and the seventh-ranked EOU volleyball team took down Warner Pacific in straight sets (25-12, 25-22, 25-17) on Thursday night.
Tuma yielded only one error and posted a .619 hitting percentage, while both senior hitter
Makayla Lindburg and junior right-side hitter
Isabelle Statkus added seven kills apiece.

Megan Bunn delivered three service aces, and junior middle hitter
Madisen Garlie rose for a team-high four blocks.
With 35 assists, senior setter
Rachelle Chamberlain earned match-high honors, while sophomore libero
Holli Mullins tallied 19 digs.
With a 9-7 lead in the opening set, the Mountaineers (22-2, 15-1 CCC) saw Garlie and Lindburg team up for the block assist to kickstart an 11-2 run to go up by 11 (20-9). Statkus and Bunn recorded kills to lift the Blue and Gold to set point (24-11), and a Knight attack error ultimately delivered the frame to EOU.
In the second stanza, EOU overcame an early four-point deficit on the way to carding a 25-22 victory. Tuma put down kills to keep the Mountaineers in front late, 22-21. With the frame knotted at 22 all, Bunn swung for two kills and sided with Garlie for the rejection to clinch the set.
The Mountaineers never trailed in the third set, compiling 14 kills en route to sailing past the Knights, 25-17. Freshman outside hitter

Olivia Starks connected with kills to notch set point (24-17), and then junior middle hitter
Emily Nay closed out the match with the final tally to help EOU to its third-straight win.
