No. 4 Oregon Tech Claims Back-to-Back Women’s Cross Country CCC Title
ISSAQUAH, Wash. – No. 4 Oregon Tech women ran through the rain to a commanding victory, scoring 29 points at Lake Sammamish State Park. Last year, Oregon Tech won their first Cascade Collegiate Conference championship, and they are not backing down any time soon!

The Owls finished the day with 29 points to secure their second cross country championship in program history. Oregon Tech led the way with the top three finishers: Cindy Reed (17:38.50), Susie Garza (17:40.5), and Danielle De Castro (17:56.10). Cindy Reed was also voted the Cascade Collegiate Conference 2018 Female Runner of the Year.
Southern Oregon followed with 54 points. They were led by Jenna Storms, who took fifth place with a time of 18:06.40.
Jack Kegg, for the second year in a row, was named Cascade Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year.
