Eagles Lose in Joust with the Knights

Kirkland, Wash. – Northwest University (2-7, 0-2 CCC) lost their second conference game of the year to the Warner Pacific Knights (5-2, 2-0 CCC). The final score was 74-54.
Miranda Langenhorst had another double-double, with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Andie Kristinat and Grace Meza scored in double figures tonight as well, with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
For the Knights, Deepika Kapil led defensively with 11 rebounds and five steals. The Knights had 18 steals in total, forcing the Eagles into 42 turnovers. This allowed the Knights to score 37 points off turnovers.
Northwest head coach Ken Crawford summarized, “We continue to struggle with consistency, though we are seeing glimpses of how good we really can be. We head into a week of non-league games and hope we can get on the winning track!”
