KLAMATH FALLS – In the Cascade Conference women's soccer opener for both teams, Oregon Tech and No. 21 Southern Oregon settled on a 0-0 draw after 110 minutes on Saturday afternoon at the OIT Soccer Field.

Raider keeper Jessie Selby turned in her third clean sheet in a row and came up big in overtime, where she collected three of her seven saves. In the final seconds of the first extra period, she stared down Salyna Blue on a breakaway and lunged to her left to swat away the Owls' best chance and extend the game.

Selby has made 31 saves since last allowing a goal.

OIT keeper Jenna Stiehr earned her third straight shutout with five saves. The Owls (3-2-2, 0-0-1) haven't given up a goal during their four-game unbeaten streak.

Playing their first-ever game as a top-25 NAIA team, the Raiders (3-2-1 overall, 0-0-1 CCC) had been off since defeating Sonoma State (Calif.) on Sept. 7. On Wednesday, they moved up two spots in the national coaches' poll.

The Owls had a 14-11 advantage in shots, including 5-1 in overtime. Baylee Touey led the Raiders with three shots and Blue put two on goal for OIT.

SOU and OIT will both be home next week to host Carroll (Mont.) and Providence (Mont.) in CCC action.
