CALDWELL, Idaho – The College of Idaho closed the game on a 15-3 run to pick up a 69-61 win over Oregon Tech on Saturday night in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.
An Abby Kreiser layup with 6:05 remaining gave the Owls (12-9, 6-5 CCC) a 58-54 lead, which the Yotes (9-13, 7-6 CCC) responded to by rattling off 15 unanswered points. A Kreiser 3-pointer at the buzzer was the only made basket for OIT in the final six minutes.

Two other players finished in double-digits for the Yotes, as Maupin had 13 points and four rebounds, while Emily Harwood posted 13 points, four rebounds and two steals.
Leading scorer Mackenzie Royce-Radford was held to three points by the Owls defense, but stepped up in other areas by tallying five steals and six assists.

A key sequence where Lexi Mitchell hit consecutive baskets to make it 66-58 was followed by a turnover off the inbound pass from Kreiser. With all the momentum on the side of the Yotes, Maupin sealed the win with a 3-pointer off a Royce-Radford assist to make it 69-58 with 49 seconds left.
