CORVALLIS, Ore. –  Mid-week Cascade Collegiate Conference action saw two three-set sweeps and one five-set thriller.

Lewis-Clark State College (12-12, 7-9 CCC) def. Walla Walla University (0-17, 0-16 CCC), 3-0
Lewis-Clark State College put up a tough defensive performance with a three-set sweep over Walla Walla University (25-14, 25-11, 25-19). The Warriors held the Wolves to a negative hitting percentage (-.048), with a 38-to-14 advantage on kills. Grecia Ung Enriquez led the Warriors with nine kills, while Hannah Martinez and Lexi Trowbridge shared the assist responsibilities with 15 and 13 assists, respectively. Hailey Bischoff led the Wolves with five kills, while Carlee Smith came up big at the net with four blocks.

No. 13 Eastern Oregon University (19-5, 14-2 CCC) def. College of Idaho (10-14, 7-9 CCC), 3-0
Thirteenth-ranked Eastern Oregon University was very efficient on offense in a three-set sweep over the College of Idaho (25-14, 25-23, 25-21). The Mountaineers boasted a .341 attacking percentage, committing just five errors all night, while limiting the Coyotes to a .150 clip. EOU also held the advantage in blocks (7-to-4) with Cambree Scott posting seven stuffs at the net. Breanna Shaffer and Scott led the offensive output for the Mounties with 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Danielle Neuman and Jade Warren each had 10 kills for the Yotes, while Sidney Frith was just one dig shy of a double-double with 30 assists and nine digs.

Multnomah University (4-13, 3-13 CCC) def. Warner Pacific University (1-18, 1-15 CCC), 3-2
Multnomah University and Warner Pacific University battled it out to five sets with the Lions coming from behind to go out on top (21-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-17, 15-11). Hannah McPhetridge and Danae Stokes led the Lions with 16 kills each, followed by Jocelynn Porter's 12 kill-effort. Four Lions finished the night in double-digit digs: Alyssa Mehalovich (19), Rachel Bailey (11), Rayesa Efimov (11) and Jasmine Santos (11). Once again, Grace Buchanan led the Knights with an impressive 25 kills, with Tevlin Britten adding 10 kills. Buchanan also had 17 digs for the double-double, while Matalasi Laban also had a double-double with 39 assists and 10 digs.
