CORVALLIS, Ore. – Six Cascade Collegiate Conference volleyball matches played out Friday with two going the distance to five sets.

Southern Oregon University (10-8, 5-8 CCC) def. Walla Walla University (0-13, 0-12 CCC), 3-0
Southern Oregon University banked its first conference home victory with a three-set sweep (25-12, 25-13, 25-18) over Walla Walla University. For the Raiders, Hailey Van Well had 14 kills, Kadyn Jones had four service aces and 17 digs and Taylor Russell had 22 assists. Gabrielle Browning had 12 kills and three blocks for the Wolves.

Bushnell University (14-2, 10-2 CCC) def. College of Idaho (8-12, 5-7 CCC), 3-0
Bushnell University grabbed a 3-0 victory over the College of Idaho (25-18, 27-25, 25-21) to move into a tie for second place. Bushnell was led by Shay Coons, who had 12 kills, and Callie Wilkins paced the team with 17 digs and three service aces. College of Idaho was led by Leyah De Souza, who had seven kills and six blocks, while Jade Warren posted a team-high eight blocks.

No. 6 Corban University def. No. 13 Eastern Oregon University, 3-2
In a ranked showdown, No. 6-ranked Corban University and No. 13 Eastern Oregon University brought the fireworks, going to five sets. The Warriors walked away victorious in the battle, 3-2 (24-26, 25-19, 18-25, 27-25, 15-12). With the win, Corban’s historic winning streak moves to 18-consecutive matches, and the Warriors retain sole possession of first place in the CCC standings. Rylee Troutman ended the night with 18 kills for the Warriors, who saw Ciarra Judson (27) and Jadyn Mullen (24) combine for 51 assists. Breanna Shaffer's impressive offensive effort (16 kills, .295 attack percentage) spearheaded the Mountie attack.

Northwest University (7-10, 6-6 CCC) def. Multnomah University (3-10, 2-10 CCC), 3-0
Northwest University started the second half of its CCC schedule with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-23) sweep at Multnomah University. Abigail Broussard led the Eagles with a solid all-around match, 12 kills, three aces and eight blocks. Anna Saelens provided 33 assists and Jill Botsford added nine kills and two blocks in the win. The Lions were led by Kamaile Lebanon, who had nine kills, and Rachel Bailey had 21 assists in the loss.

The Evergreen College def. Warner Pacific University, 3-0
The Evergreen State College defeated Warner Pacific University 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-17). Zoe Shaw had a double-double with 13 kills and 14 digs for the Geoducks. Lily Stewart chipped in with nine kills and five blocks to the winning efforts. For the Knights, Tevlin Britten had a team-high 14 kills and Grace Buchanan added 12 in the loss.

Oregon Tech (14-4, 10-3 CCC) def. Lewis-Clark State College (11-9, 6-6 CCC), 3-2
Oregon Tech held off a comeback attempt from Lewis-Clark State, winning a 3-2 thriller (25-20, 25-19, 21-25, 27-29, 15-7). Kaylin Talonen paced Oregon Tech with a career-high 19 kills as three players had double-digit kills in the win. Courtney Isom added 29 assists and Kate Hicks added three blocks for the Owls. The Warriors got a double-double from Grecia Ung Enriquez with 17 kills and 14 digs. Cassidy Nelson added 14 kills and Jess Ruffing had 27 assists in the loss.
