CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2022 Cascade Collegiate Conference softball season continued Saturday. Teams compete in a four-game series, with only the first three counting toward the conference record.

Game 1: WPU won 7-5 – Faith Vadelund went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with one run and four RBIs for the Knights.
Game 2: WPU won 7-5 – Paityn Willoughby led the Knights with a 3-for-4 performance, scoring twice and driving in one run.

University of Providence at (RV) Eastern Oregon University
Game 1: EOU won 2-1 (9 innings) – It took extra innings, but an RBI single from Caitlin Crist (2-for-4) gave the Mounties the close victory.
Game 2: EOU won 7-3 – The Argos had more hits than the Mounties, but the home team got it done thanks to two-hit performances from Madison Stateler and Rhyanne Oates.

No. 8 Southern Oregon University at Bushnell University
Game 1: SOU won 11-3 (5 innings) – The Raiders had no problems racking up hits (14) as Coach Jessica Pistole grabbed her 300th career win.
Game 2: SOU won 13-4 – Deja Acosta and Riley Donovan each went 4-for-5 in the nightcap for the Raiders, with Donovan scoring twice and driving in four runs while Acosta had four runs and one RBI.

Carroll College at No. 5 College of Idaho
Game 1: C of I won 5-1 – Annie Polster picked up the win in the circle for the Coyotes with three strikeouts, while Katelyn Wilfert grabbed her second save of the season with two strikeouts.
Game 2: C of I won 5-4 – Despite the Saints out-hitting the Coyotes 12-4, C of I walked away with the win after Lauren Gordon and Lindsey Jones each went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI.

Game 1: OIT won 5-0 – Sarah Abramson continued her dominance with six strikeouts to shutout the Warriors.
Game 2: OIT won 6-4 – The Warriors out-hit the Owls, but OIT got the win thanks to Tori Beasley’s 3-for-4 performance with one RBI and two runs scored.
