CORVALLIS, Ore. – Five CCC volleyball matches played out Friday, with two going to five sets.

Warner Pacific University def. Walla Walla University, 3-1
Warner Pacific University battled to grab its first CCC victory of the season, defeating Walla Walla University 3-1 (21-25, 27-25, 26-24, 25-19). Tevlin Britton led the Knights with 15 kills and posted 10 digs to finish with a double-double. Sahara Browning led all attackers with 25 kills for the Wolves.

(RV) Bushnell University def. Northwest University, 3-2
In back-and-forth action, Bushnell University picked up a five-set win over Northwest University (25-16, 22-25, 25-17, 22-25, 17-15). Jessica Northcutt led the Beacons with 20 kills, while Matty Ladd had seven blocks and Payton Jones added another six on the night. Karste Wright led the Eagles with 21 kills while Anna Saelens dished out 46 assists.

No. 6 Corban University def. The Evergreen State College, 3-0
Sixth-ranked Corban University picked up a three-set sweep over The Evergreen State College (25-17, 25-16, 25-18). Rylee Troutman had a stellar match for the Warriors, finishing with 18 kills and three aces on the night. Zoe Shaw and Lily Stewart led the Geoducks with seven kills apiece.

Lewis-Clark State College def. Multnomah University, 3-2
Multnomah University put some pressure on Lewis-Clark State College, winning the third and fourth sets to force a fifth, but the Warriors prevailed with a 3-2 victory (25-20, 25-19, 18-25, 24-26, 15-7). Cassidy Nelson finished with 15 kills for the Warriors, who saw Kendzee Cloward post 14 digs in the match. Jocelynn Porter led the Lions with 10 kills and had two blocks.

Oregon Tech def. College of Idaho, 3-1
After College of Idaho grabbed the first set, Oregon Tech rallied to take the next three to win the match 3-1 (23-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-20). Courtney Isom dished out 38 assists, made four blocks and posted 17 digs on the night for the Owls. Analise Hitchcock had 23 assists, 13 digs and two aces on the other side of the net for the Coyotes.
